Test #1 on Fluids covering pages 88 to 107 will be on Thursday, Jan. 7/10. A review will be done in class first period, Jan. 5/10.

Science 7 Re-test

Due to the poor marks on the first Pure Substances and Mixtures test there will be a re-test on Tuesday, Jan. 5. It covers pages 16-27. Bring all notes, review sheets and definition flashcards to class on Monday for a review. All students making less than 80% will be required to re-write.

2.3 Viscosity. Read pagees 92-93. Assigned 2 defs and #1,2,6. Anything not finished is homework but key is to study defs and concepts as we go.

TEST #3 Water Systems -- There will be a TEST RE-WRITE on Monday, Dec. 7/09 second period. Anyone who rewrites will take that mark. Band students can write at lunch or before homeroom Monday.

Introduced new "Fluids" Unit. Read pages 88-89. 2.1 assigned 5 defs & #1,2. Complete any unfinished work at home and study new material. Also we read and discussed 2.2.

Wrote test 3 on Water Systems. Handed in notebooks. No homework unless any unfinished or notebooks not passed in. Test next day for anyone who was absent today.

Period 1 Homework- Pages 18-19 Do 7 defs. #1 and draw and label Figures 2 & 4. Complete at home if unfinished in class.

Period 4. Pages 20-21. Do 7 defs and # 2 to 5. Draw and be able to explain Table 1.

Most finished in class for both periods. If not finished it is to be completed. EVERYONE begin learning the defs. so many per evening.

The last test on Water Systems is on Wednesday, Dec. 2/09. It covers pages 236 to 253 and the Water Analysis sheet from our "Adopt a River" project. Notes and flashcards were handed out during the review last Thursday, Nov. 26.
